All Little Tikes products meet International Standards ISO9002. This standard is recognized worldwide and over rides any domestic requirements.

No, what appears on the USA Little Tikes website is not always brought into Australia, and some products are made specifically for Australia and are not the same as what is advertised or available in the USA. What we have on our website is all that is available for us to sell.

How do I clean my Little Tikes products?

The best method of cleaning plastic is to use hot water and a detergent solution with a soft bristled brush. We do not recommend one brand of cleaning product over another.

Will cold weather harm my Little Tikes product if left outdoors?
Exposure to extreme cold can be harmful to plastic (in colder weather our plastic can become less resilient). If you normally experience temperatures below freezing (0 degrees Celsius), you should consider storing your Little Tikes product in a warmer, more protected area, like a shed or garage.

Are Little Tikes products fade-proof?
Little Tikes plastic is fade-resistant, but not fade-proof. While we add fade inhibitors to our outdoor products that help slow down the effect of ultraviolet light, it isn't possible to prevent fading over the long term. Colours can start to fade over time, especially if the product is left in an area where it is exposed to direct sunlight most of the day. Fading does not affect the integrity of our products in any way.

My child sometimes gets a static shock when playing on your outdoor products. How can I prevent this?
Some clothing articles made of artificial fibers produce more static electricity than others. To minimize or eliminate static shock, take fabric softener sheets or make a solution of half fabric softener and half water in a spray bottle and wipe or spray the unit down. Remove any excess water with a paper towel. Repeat as necessary.

Why does water sometimes accumulate inside the walls of certain products, and how can I remove it?
Little Tikes uses a plastic called 'Polyethylene' in the manufacture of outdoor products with double-walled construction. Polyethylene is a porous plastic that may absorb water. If your product needs to be drained, turn it on its side and/or drill small holes on the bottom - 1" away from any seam - to allow the water to drain. Drilling these holes will help prevent water from collecting again and will not affect the integrity of the product.

Can Little Tikes products be painted?
No. Paint will not adhere to our polyethylene plastic and could damage the polymer structure that make up our toys.

How can I discourage bees and other insects from gathering on my outdoor products?
This is an environmental concern and we advise you to contact a local pest company. Be sure to advise them that you have a child's play product made of polyethylene plastic. This will aid them in determining the proper method to alleviate your particular situation.

How can I help preserve my Little Tikes toy?
It helps to clean our plastic products periodically. To minimize abuse, the product should be played with "as intended" and by children who fall within the age and weight recommendations specified on the product carton and/or assembly instructions. If the unit you have is assembled with capnuts, screws, or nuts and bolts, it is recommended you inspect them periodically, to ensure they are still tight and intact. The service life of our products can depend on many external factors, including environmental condition, the age, weight and number of children using the product, how and where the toy is stored, and how well the product is maintained.

No, you shouldn't interchange products nor alter or substitute replacement parts to accommodate a non-Little Tikes product. Each Little Tikes product is designed to meet certain specifications and safety standards.

Yes, please consult your local recycling center for specific instructions. Each toy has plastic content information molded into it.

Why is it sometimes difficult to locate new Little Tikes products?
